8 Books Worth Rereading Every Year

Last year I set myself the ambitious goal of reading 100 books. Through a multitude of paperbacks, ebooks and audiobooks I finished my last book at 5:30pm on December 31st 2018 (just in time to celebrate New Years Eve). It was a great challenge that forced me to read more and to widen my range of books.

What I hadn’t expected at the beginning of last year was how many books I would end up reading multiple times. I usually reread books 2–3 years later but never so often as I did last year.

Even the books I have read this year so far have mainly been re-reads. These are books that have timeless lessons that are worth reinforcing time and time again.

Each time that I read them something new pops out or sticks.

Rereading a book drives the message deeper and helps ensures the message really sticks.

I know people who only have 2–3 books on their list for a whole year because they will study and reread them until they can preach and live that message inside out.

So here are my top eight re-reads. Books that have stuck with me years after I first found them, and books that could become a permanent fixture on your nightstand too! I challenge you to come up with your own list to keep pushing you to living and…
